Allan Christensen joined Doist in 2012 as employee No. 2 and has grown within the company, serving as COO for over eight years now. He has a unique career path in that he began as a pipe organ builder, eventually went into engineering, earned an MBA&E in Berlin, traveled the world, is fluent in four languages, and now leads operations for a remote work pioneer with a 90+% employee retention rate. His experience growing the company to the global brand it is today prepared him for his role as COO, where he ensures Doist is hiring the right people for the right team, implementing operational controls and procedures, and ensuring Doist's financial strength for the long term.
