About Allie Fleder
Allie Fleder is co-founder and COO at SimplyWise, a New York fintech focused on helping people organize receipts, bills, and Social Security and retirement documents. She joined the company alongside her co-founder Sam and took on a portfolio that spans finance and accounting, HR, recruiting, customer support, legal, product, and business development.
Her path into operating roles is non-linear. She studied Latin American poetry in college, worked as a political speechwriter, served as chief of staff at an NGO and a think tank, and started a British travel company during her MBA before moving into tech. She describes herself as a generalist who is drawn to early-stage environments where the role changes every few weeks and where learning quickly is part of the job.
