He started his career in finance at large banks before moving into startups, where he joined G2 early and spent roughly seven years scaling its sales, customer success, and partnerships functions. G2's founder eventually asked him to take over revenue operations, a function Rosen describes as the intersection of his financial and data analytics background with his commercial go-to-market experience.

His operating point of view on RevOps is that companies typically build the function too late and treat it inconsistently, sometimes as a glorified Salesforce administrator role and sometimes as a strategic partner.
