About Cyrus Mistry
Cyrus Mistry is COO at GoGuardian, one of the larger education technology companies focused on student safety and learning effectiveness in schools. He joined the company as Chief Product Officer with a scope that expanded to include strategy and operations, the BI team, and the research organization, becoming GoGuardian's first COO. He joined within weeks of the company closing a $200M round led by Tiger Global Management.
Before GoGuardian, Mistry spent fourteen years at Google, most prominently as Director of Product Management for Chromebooks, where he helped bring the platform into schools. He started his career as a developer with a minor in applied mathematics, then moved into technical sales when colleagues noticed he could explain technical work clearly, and eventually settled in product management, where he spent the majority of his twenty-five-year career before taking on the broader COO mandate.
