About Holger Seim
Holger Seim is co-founder and CEO of Blinkist, the Berlin-based microlearning company that condenses non-fiction books into 15-minute summaries. Under his leadership, Blinkist grew to more than 21 million users globally and became one of the most prominent consumer subscription products to emerge from Germany.
Holger's entrepreneurial track record started early. He ran small businesses in school, organized proms, and competed in business plan competitions through college. He and a group of friends started a student consulting firm that grew from four people to fifty in twelve months and still exists today. After a stint at T-Mobile in Germany and Seattle, he and his co-founders launched Blinkist in 2011 to solve their own problem: lifelong learning that fit into mobile consumption patterns.
On Between Two COOs, Holger covered how Blinkist scaled out of Germany, the company's four-day workweek experiment, and how to balance long-term strategic vision with the reality of running a global subscription business.
