About Marie Prokopets
Marie Prokopets is co-founder and COO at Nira, a platform that helps companies secure their cloud documents and manage access controls across services like Google Workspace. Nira pivoted from search into security after observing that visibility into who could access company files was a bigger unsolved problem than findability.
Before founding Nira, she spent five and a half years at Diageo, where she worked across strategy, M&A, and product development under the company's innovation function. She started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in marketing before moving into the strategy and M&A consulting practice, where she worked on deals across retail, consumer, and automotive. She holds a business undergraduate degree and a master's in English literature.
