About Valerie Hoecke

Valerie Hoecke is COO at Dia&Co, the apparel company focused on the shopping needs of plus-size women. Before Dia&Co she was Global Chief Digital Officer for the beauty division of LVMH, where she ran digital strategy and transformation across 16 brands. She joined LVMH after leading e-commerce and digital marketing at Benefit Cosmetics, one of the group's beauty brands.

Hoecke started her career as a web developer and project manager during what was meant to be a gap year before college. She never returned to school, and instead helped a publishing company launch an internet think tank when the first graphical web browsers shipped. The experimental products that came out of the think tank were spun out via Mayfield, giving her an exit by age twenty. She went on to run a web development agency in Silicon Valley, exited it a few years later, and spent years as a VP of Client Services and General Manager across various agencies before moving in-house at Benefit.
